Is there a way to create custom fields with pricing based on the previous custom Field?

Example:
Selling widget A with a base price of $10.00; with widget A you have the ability to select two different shapes - Round & Oval (no charge for this)
Once you select the shape; then I want a drop down menu with special pricing based on size
***If I select Round - I only want the round options to appear - not the oval
15" Round Widget
17" Round Widget $5.00 more
Then be able to select color that is based on the size selection with special pricing.

Please any assistance is welcome.

I have searched for a solution; so far I am not finding a way to build variants and pricing off the previous selection. Is this possible in Virtuemart 2?

Hi, there is a very clumsy way to do it by using generic child variant, and having the second field as children of the first fields, but it is very clumsy and you do have problems with navigating back to the parent product.

At the moment it looks as if having a Round product and a seperate Oval product with size variants on each is your best bet.

Thank you for the reply; that is exactly how I have done it so far. I was hoping for a nice fit, maybe with a new release or module.
