Error installing com_virtuemart.2.0.6_ext​_aio.tar.gz

Very good at all and before anything thank you for the help ....

I have installed the version of joomla 2.5 and I'm trying to install virtuemad .... the case is the first step I did well ... and installed the store ... but the second step ... when to install the com_virtuemart.2.0.6_ext_aio.tar.gz not show any page me ok .... just gives me an error page with the following ....

The website can not display the page

  HTTP 500


Most likely causes:
  • The website is under maintenance.
  • The website has a programming error.

  You can try the following:
  Atualice page.

The problem is that without installing this extension I can not translate the store to Spanish .... finally thank you for everything in advance and best regards ..... I hope someone can hecharme a cable as I am new in these matters and I'm a bit lost .... when it takes a little experience I expect powerful help as well ...

UNZIP the file with 7zip or whatever you have,

and then ZIP it back into a .zip

then install it,

Your server just cant handle the .tar.gz

I am having a similar problem with Virtuemart install on joomla 2.5.6, I tried virtuemart 2.0.6 and have just also tried the new 2.0.8 and I can't get the virtuemart.2.0.6_ext​_aio file to install either from the zip or tar.gz,   any ideas??
