migrating from virtue mart 1 to 2 with a CSV file

Our site has been hacked. Im building a new one now with joomla 2.5 and virtue mart 2.0
Ill managed to get an complete CSV file off our old virtue mart database. Is there a possibility to use this? To be clear I'm not upgrading virtue mart 1.5 but building a new one in a test folder to keep the old site working for a few days

You need the product/category images off the old site, too.

There are two ways to migrate, assuming the db is intact, export a copy of it, make a new local installation of Joomla/Virtuemart 1.1.x (whatever you used before) connect it to the copy of the db and add in the product images. Then you can migrate using the recommended method - http://dev.virtuemart.net/projects/virtuemart/wiki/Upgrading_VM1_to_VM2_with_provided_packages

Or make a new installation of Joomla/VM and use CSVmproved to import your data.

You maybe should consider updating Joomla at the same time, as J1.5 is already past end of life and will need replacing for a secure site before the end of the year - see the security statement here, http://forum.joomla.org/viewtopic.php?f=432&t=726763#p2834821
