Bug: product translations destroy parent/child relationship

This bug has been spotted in regards to the stockable variants plugin but is actually present with all parent/child products.

If you have multiple languages configured, as soon as you add a translation to a product, it removes all of the child products. The child products are still physically there, but they are not longer child products, they are just completely independent.
