After a total headache trying to get OScommerse to work the way I wanted, I stumbled across VirtueMart.  I was just looking for a simple solution to get rid of second hand stuff I acumulate doing PC upgrades.  Some stuff I sell on Ebay but I wanted somewhere to list things like obsolete memory, motherboards etc.  I also have hundreds of CD singles that I want to get rid off.

I have a test server at home with Mambo on it.  Installed VirtueCart and immediately thought to myself, this is virtually ready to go.  I had already installed Mambo on my live site (not finished that yet!!) so installed it there as well.  I love the way it immediately followed the template and seamlessly fits in.

Its still being setup - about 90% there.

All I need to do now is set up the shipping rates and I have a problem with the regions not being in alphabetical order on the sign up page (anyone know of a fix?  they are in order in the database but for some reason a couple of the 'B's come before 'A' - how do you get it to sort alphabetically?).

So far I have been very impressed with the ease at which it installed.  I will be using Paypal and Nochex as the payment gateways.  Unfortunately I have other pressing issues so won't be able to finish it until next week so if you want to try it, feel free.  Use COD as payment method to complete the order.

As you may be able to see from the site, I like uncluttered websites!!

Thanks

Tony
