Attribute list missing

HELP! My product status section doesn't show the attributes list. I've just recently uploaded 2.0.6 for the first time. I have however worked on other sites, therefore know about this option.

What do i do to get it back?

Yep,

don't panic - as The attributes no longer live there in version 2.0.0 and upwards they should be under "custome fields" over on the right.

Am I being silly? I can't seem to figure out how it works? Custom field type doesn't allow me to add anything?

I think you mean custom field "string".

Milbo means that this is done somewhere else - you don't add the attributes directly under the product. You have to set them up first in Products>>custom Fields

then when you go to your product you can see options to put in fields.

There should be examples in the custom fields to play with -
