error updating / installing VM 2.0.6

I have tried to install VM 2.0.6. When I installed it I get a blank page. No error message, nothing. And VM 2.0.6 is not installed.

Then I have installed VM 2.0.4. This worked fine. I have tried to update to VM 2.0.6. Again the blank page.

I am using Joomla 2.5.4.

I downloaded VM 2.0.6, extracted everything, then I get the tar-files. I think there is something with the tar files. I extracted them again to get the zip files. But when I try to install both tar-files or zip-files via the Joomla Installer  I always get a blank page.

How can I update to VM 2.0.6

I had the same situation.

Not sure what the problem was but I solved it by downloading a 2.06 from the VM page, unpack the zip, and unpack the AIO and VM folder.
Then, put them in the tmp file of your site and from the backend install them using the 'install from directory' option.
The path to the folder should be there already, just enter the (unpacked!) name of the folders you wish to install.

That did it for me.

Seems my images are not show on the site, the backend seems to work just fine... wonder what this is...
...OK, seems I have to open each article and image in the backend and save them to make them visible... that can't be right.
