How to set up confirmation text after "confirming" and order?

My site:
Joomla 1.5 using the latest virtuemart: http://gauvinassociation.com/maryse/index.php?option=com_virtuemart&view=category&virtuemart_category_id=1&Itemid=106&lang=fr

Once I click on the "confirm order" button, it refreshes onto a blank page (not even the site" shell). Am I supposed to set up some sort of text saying "your order has been sent"? If so, where?

ALSO, how do I set-up who receives the email for that order? Can the shopper also receive an email?
