Address fields being prefilled with '0's!

I'm having a problem whereby the user registration fields are prefilled to '0'

This problem is happening on two websites for me: one on 2.0.6 and another on 2.0.8 - both of these problems were occurring before I hacked the core files. I appreciate that there is a Joomla update but the amount of coding that has been done for these websites means that we cannot update to the latest version. My only solution is to, again, hack into the code and get rid of these annoying prefilled '0's!

I have also reverted to different templates (ie. Beez) to see if this is a Virtuemart or template issue. The forms stay prefilled with '0's when I change template, so I think this is a Virtuemart issue.

I have read several online posts regarding this bug, although I haven't come across a fix as of yet.

Here is one of the websites that is giving me this problem:
1. http://www.s387718370.websitehome.co.uk/Proofs/HFL-Displays/index.php/component/virtuemart/user/editaddresscheckoutBT?Itemid=0

It must be noted that the only fields that that have this problem are those from the address fields, so I'm guessing (must stress that word!) that it is somewhere within the edit_address.php file.

Is there anyone out there who can help?

Many thanks.

Hello,

I had suggest to that post to override the vm template and as i see now (from his site) it's has been resolved but never respond: https://forum.virtuemart.net/index.php?topic=108041.msg361455#msg361455

btw, you are using a commercial gavick template so you could ask there for support or disable gavick template and also use the default vm theme without overrides (both html and css). When you do it will be able to test your url properly.
Perhaps your template is outdated or your vm is outdated (as you said you are using 206 and 208). But you should upgrade to vm 2010/2012.

Also take a look on that post: http://forum.virtuemart.net/index.php?topic=108212.0
