Uninstalling Virtuemart Breaks Joomla Search

Hi,

I've uninstalled Virtuemart and noticed that the Search module stopped working. So I reinstalled Virtuemart and suddenly the search module works great. If you disable Virtuemart rather then uninstall it, joomla search continues to work. It's just when you uninstall, Joomla search quits working. 

Originally this problem was with Joomla 1.7 and Virtuemart 2.0.2. I've since upgraded to Joomla 2.5.2 and the problem persists. Any Ideas?

Found the problem. This plugin was still active:
plg_search_virtuemart

It doesn't uninstall with the Virtuemart or AIO installer.
