How to setup shipping methods in VM 2.0.2

Hi I just want to say that virtuemart 2 is awesome! Great job to all the developers!

1. I would like to know if I need to setup a different shipment method for each type of shipment for example. If my client wants 3-5 day then rush shipping then overnight shipping would I need to setup an individual payment method for each?

2. If my client needs the shipping rates of the customers state to be applied what does the parameter for that type of shipment method inside virtuemart 2.0.2 look like? Thanks in advance!

Shipping:

for some they just charge a flat free, or shipping free.
For most they do it by state and weight.
So yes you could have 5 states. Thats 5 different prices, BNut you must also take into account weights.

Eg 0000 - 1000 ( zip code states) from 0- 10 KG is price $A
     0000 -1000 ( zipcode states) 10.01 - 20.00 kg is price $B

And so on  1001 - 2000 ( zipcode states) 0- 10KG is price $F

The over night - fast track another option.

Some just set the Over night fee at a two flat rates ( $20 .00) under 5kg or $40.00 over 10KG up to a limit.

* When the customer purchases a product and he uses a certain zipcode and his products weigh 25KG then he will get two options or three if you set them right in the configuration.

He then chooses the best for himself.

In the USA - I'd imagine you could have up to 50 different shipping costs - so maybe just 3 or 4 flat rates would be better.
