Shopping cart - Shipping method issue

So I am trying to get my shopping cart fully done but keep running into this issue. I publish my shipping method and if its on auto select the shopping cart checkout doesnt show up. It just shows a white blank screen. If it is not auto select then it comes up but when i select the icon to "select shipment method" it comes up with the same blank white screen. Any help?

I have search google and these forums to try to find the answer with no luck.

VirtueMart 2.0.10 is very old now. Both your Joomla & VirtueMart versions have known security issues so you are advised to update. But test on a backup copy first.

A blank page in Joomla is often caused by a 500 error, so I suggest you check your server logs which will show a record of 500s and what caused them (if it is such an error).

Thank you for moving it to the correct category, It must show im a newb in the forums.

anyways good call on the error messages. here is what it displayed. searching for a fix now. I need to manually force upgrade because my site isnt detecting that there are any upgrades to virtue mart or joomla available. That or i need to load a new site and transfer over everything ( which i had to do last time and hate it)

There may be a filemissing or corrupt - and update may fix this, but always test developments/updates on a backup copy of the actual site.
