shipment and payment configuration not working in Joomla 2.5

I have instaled VirtueMart 2 in Joomla 2.5 and when I try to configure either the shipment or the payment methods, what I get is a page with the list of text links in to all the options in the control panel and an error...

I have no knowledge in programing... can anyone help me?

I have exactly the same problem.  New installation of Joomla 2.5 and VM 2.0.  There are no payment methods listed and if I click New, then i get a plain HTML page with the menu options running down the left hand side of the page.  URL of the page I end up on is http://localhost/my_site/administrator/index.php.

If I hover over any of the buttons at the top right of the Payment methods page, all the buttons (publish, unpublish, edit, etc) all appear to point to http://localhost/my_site/administrator/index.php?option=com_virtuemart&view=paymentmethod#
I can see in the com_virtuemart_ext_aio.2.0.0.zip that two payment methods are listed.  I only need the paypal one.  Is there any way of manually installing this payment method?
I'd really appreciate some help with this please.
