COM_VIRTUEMART_MIGRATION_WARN_VM1_EXTENSIONS

Hi,

I have just installed VM2 and I am receiving this error message when trying to open Virtuemart in the back end.

I have disabled any VM1 exensions that I can see - would I need to uninstall them though? I was wondering if anyone would be able to assist me in how to fix the problem?

yep. i disabled any 3rd party plugins too.

you are going to have to eventually uninstall them,. you cant use them

Fatal error: Call to undefined function vmGet() in /home/stitch/public_html/stitchingart/administrator/components/com_virtuemart/toolbar.virtuemart.html.php on line 18

Hi,
I am still trying to fix the problem. I have tried automatically and manually installing vm2 a few times too and now. I am about to throw my computer against the wall. I wish I never did the update now

did you rename the com_virtuemart folders first?

I didnt see the thread before I updated. I didnt rename all of my files and I did it through Joomla upgrade.

what I would do is download a 2.0 package, unzip it.

THEN, rename your current  com_virtuemart folders for administrator and front end.

Then, upload the folders to the site.

MAKE sure you take your images out of the old folders and put in the correct place

make sure you backup first.
