No auto reply for customers when changing the orderstatus?

Please help me cannot find the right
section in mambo shop to place an email directly to my customers,
or either to inform them about a status change.


1. When I change the order status  for a customer, they do not receive
a message, right?

2.There is no respond field/ sheet in the shop where I can reply
/send a message automatically to a customer, right?

So in this shop I cannot contact a customer via the shop? I have to copy all customer IDs to place an email to my customer?

Is this in general the way how the shop works?

No.
Emails are sent out if you check "Notify Customer" when Changing the order status.
