Are there General Installation Instructions for VM 2?

I'm pretty new to this but have some experience with joomla 1.5 and installing virtuemart.

I've just installed joomla 1.7 and downloaded and unzipped virtuemart1.9.8.RC2c_extract_first.zip

Now I have com_virtuemart.1.9.8c.zip & mod_virtuemart_allinone.1.9.8c.zip

What are the next steps?  Is there a page with step by step instructions for the install yet or can someone give me some pointers?

I tried installing the all in one through joomla as an extension and it seemed to install ok but then I didn't see anything on the front end?  Am I supposed to install both packages like that?  Or maybe unpack them and ftp them?

Any help is appreciated.

Install com_virtuemart.1.9.8c.zip. Which is the main package.

mod_virtuemart_allinone.1.9.8c.zip is the all in one installer for the modules and plugins.

Just install now the com_virtuemart packages and configure then your shipment and payment plugins directly in vm
