Need some help to set up virtuemart correctly

When I asked for help over a month ago in the Joomla forum for virtuemart integration, an Indian guy sent me an email and offered me to help (without even answering on the joomla forum). We agreed on $xx but I had to find out that he is completely unqualified.
For me Virtuemart is new but I think this job can be done in no time. In MHO it takes less than an hour. I just need someone to show me how to do it. Would anyone help?

You may want to outline the requirements.  Is it just to install VM, and that's it? Or do you need plugins, themes, products, etc. set up as well?
