Is there a list of proposed changes that 1.5 will have when it comes out?

vm1.2 already contained:
    * Max added the multi-vendor feature (capability), it's working!
    * Mark has added great new frontend features
    * Sören has added a new extension system with an extension installer which was written by a freelancer and has costed $1200
    * new flexible Plugin System that supports events/hooks
    * all Payment and Shipping module have been rewritten to be compatible with a plugin system

The port to MVC added nearly automatically the following changes/features:
   * Countries and states are editable, addable, publishable (easy to deactivate)
   * Pictures of the products can now be used in the joomla environment
   * Changed installer and uninstaller and will fit better to j1.6
   * changed template system
   * Language system works joomla native, so joomla extension using language should work better
   * configuration data is saved during upgrade now
   * Reorganisation of JS
   * new Calculator to get rid of the rounding bugs
   * Rulebased Tax and Discount system
   * and I am sure I missed something,...

More importantly 1.5 is a springboard.  All the underlying code is visited and converted to a MVC model.  Once this HUGE chore is done, future features and enhancements will be able to be added faster than ever could be with the old code.  We are also striving for a very stable product from the gate!

and the other important thing is that other components and plugins written for joomla will work better together with virtuemart. Best exampel is joomfish.
