I have customized a lot without much PHP expert knowledge to handle digital downloads and delivering product keys for softwares (one key from a pool of keys for every customer), notify software developers on sale and so on.

Thanks Virtuemart. I evaluated a lot of carts before chosing Virtuemert. Before choosing this, my final choice was to use Magento but the coding is way too complex so got fixed with Virtuemart.

I wish Virtuemart team does improve the cart to have better marketing capabilities like Magento. for example, tags support, cross-sells in product page, up-sells in cart and so on.
