Cart will not procede to PayPal checkout

I upgraded to 1.1.4 but now the cart opens a small window (issue #1) for registration.  After filling out the registration, agreeing, and clicking "Send Registration", I am taken back to the catalog (issue #2), and cannot check out.  The registration page does not remember my registration information (issue #3) when I try again, although the cart remembers quantities.  All happens within the small window, which is very inconvenient.

The cart worked fine under 1.1.3 (I think that was my older version).

Any ideas?

P.S. Please pardon this, my second post.  I'm a newcomer to forums. It seemed better to start a new topic, rather than add to an existing one. :-\

Check that your site url and secure url are correct and the same unless you use SSL
