Google Analytics conversions

I turned off the Paypal payment option today for several reasons.  Maybe some can help and i can try activating it again in the future.  Problems were:

1.  Completed purchases were not being logged by Google Analytics even though the payments were coming through and the orders were showing as confrmed.  I had the alternate goal URL as checkout.result.

2.  I tried using a coupon code and when it came to step three in the checkout, neither the authorize.net nor paypal option was displayed.  Unpublishing Paypal solved the problem.

3.  I tried tinkering with the Payal configuration and when i tried to either save or cancel I was geting a server error.  This usually only occurs if there is some corrupt HTML code.  I only had the extra code suggested by Soeren.

4.  I tried to make a test transaction but it would not alow me to use my vendor paypal account to ake payment to see how the system works.

Too much trouble in my opinion.  Am I missing something?
