[SOLcalculation of pricing re tax incorrect, not trancating after two dec points

Description:
Entered the price of a product as net 11330 (vat 14%) which works out the gross as 12916.2 on the website the price is coming up as R1291620, ie with no decimal placing.

VirtueMart Version: 1.1 RC2 Nightly build 26th nov
VirtueMart version.

Joomla/Mambo Version:1.52
Joomla/Mambo version.

Steps to replicate:
Give step-by-step instructions for reproducing the problem.

Enter vat rate of 0.14 (although appearing as 0.140 in screen and cannot change)
Enter product... at the moment only one product in daatabase... with the pricing as above


Also provide live URL when available.

I am unable to duplicate this using build 1326 from 27 March on Joomla 1.5.2, PHP 5.2.4

Using your exact figures the displayed price for the product is 12916.2

That is the same figure that is displayed in my edit screen... bit not on the online cart itself.. I will try a re-install of the files to see if that makes a difference..  not sure oif the fact the figures are not rounding to 2 dec places makes a diff after saving the data in the edit screen coming out and going back in again the product price (net) appears as so!!! 11330.00000

ok hands up to the obvious. an as the user is never wrong I sure i cannot remember deleting those two fields in a moment of random madness.

If format of numbers are 123456 instead of 123,456 and 123456 28 instead of 123.456.28

Go intoEdit Store and the two settings on right hand side

Thousands separator (=,)
and Decimal Symbol (=0)

Enter detals and Save

were blank..

got told by someone using oscommerce that vm was too complicated with too many options... I kinda like it...

BTW just a copy of the files in the compenent \com vm j etc dir copied to the live server is the proper way to update do i need to uninstall and re-insall the modules

You can use the nightly manual install files to over-write and update, not need then to run through a re-installation.
