Solve some problems... Notifications on by default?

Hi Aravot or whoever is the forum admin...

I'm sure I'm not the first person to think of it, but why not turn on notification emails for forum posts by default? That's the way Joomla does it and it seems to work well.

It's been a while since I logged in and I found at least a couple of people who I had helped before, who replied, but I didn't find out until now. Seems like it might be an easy way to improve responses. (which as you know is what everyone always complains about).
