Site response very slow and sometimes followed by an error message.

I didn't know where to post this but if it's in the wrong are, maybe someone can move it.

Ever so often it takes really long time for the pages to load on this site.
Many times I've received an error message after a while. (Attaching dump.)

Is the server frequently overloaded or does my timing suck?
