This website has been started a year ago.
I used VM as a catalog only because my friend didn't want to sell his wines online.

There is no hack at all, just a simple installation of a Mambo ecommerce Edition

I'm scheduling to migrate to Joomla! very soon.

I like this site a lot.. I find it tastefull.

The only thing I would have changed is the options on the bottom of your frontpage :

Return, next, previous.. I dont think you should use this on the first page. And I would also think about removing the created date/written by..

I don't know.. The site is very good otherwise

Hi Bilba. I'm glad to have your point of view. Thank you for your visit.
You're probably right about the "return, next,.." links at the bottom. It makes me also doubting.
But this site is one year old and my knowledge of Mambo (or Joomla) was the one of a real newbie.

Since, this knowledge has grown.
I'm going to migrate soon to Joomla as soon as my friend (the wine grower) will renew his hosting, then I will change this at this moment.

I like the site, looks nice ... the only thing that I would get rid of is the yahoo translation.
Those translations tools are good if you want to have some fun but these are not serious translations and they let the site look unprofessional. Everybody knows such translations tools ... those who want to use them can do this without site integration. I would never implement them in my site since these word for word translations are in most times not able to get the true sense of a text. Thus they look unprofessional if not stupid and serve as a good joke only ...  a visitor could transfer the blatant unprofessionality of the translation to your services and products.

I'm not absolutly sure about this. I have used Google Translation on one site http://www.nortroll.no,  and both the customers and distributors seems happy with these translations.

I understand what you mean by "unprofessional".
I implemented this to have a quick translation as the international visits were growing in stats.
I've done this site for a friend and as he had no budget for this, I guess he doesn't have more budget for a translation (via Joomfish for example), and I have no time to translated from french to english (the only other language I can speak/read/write).
That the reason why I used an automatic translation tool.
I must admit that a few web sites translated via Yahooo or Google in my own language (French) make me laugh.

Therefore, I will consider this for the next release of the site (same look, same content, but running Joomla and VM).
