Which VM template to use?

I have a feeling that this Virtuemart has some double standards.

The old template supports the new Virtuemart features, but the new vmadmin template does not. The old template is ugly, but it probably works 100% but vmadmin has it all backwards.
This new panel is very frustrating to use.

- The functions in the order list only work on the old template. It is not possible to delete or change the status of an order
- In several places, the new template does not display at all
- "non-herit" for custom fields is only supported in the old template  ( For me, this is a very useful feature because my store uses over 50 custom fields for each product and children's products). What future does this feature have?
- New template - if the product has a large number of custom fields. Some custom fields are randomly deleted after saving the product - is very frustrating.
- It's also annoying to remove custom fields in a new template. Instead of deleting the entire row, only its content is deleted. That leaves the zebra

The new template has a too large DOM - this is sub-optimal for browsers - too much unnecessary html code. With a very large number of custom fields, the browser may freeze
New template: Total DOM Elements 6,857
Old template: Total DOM Elements 4,200

new doesn't always equal better...
