Hello,

I'm currently migrating a site from J3/VM3 to J4.1.3/VM4.0.2.

I'm struggling with a cart link issue I can't resolve. If SEF (in VM) is enabled the cart links don't seem to work.
I can put items into the cart but when I click on any cart link (popup window, menu item, minicart) I'll get redirected
to the shop overview page (or sometimes even to a different page - completely weird). If I deactivate SEF in Virtuemart, everything
works correctly.
I just can't figure out what could cause this behaviour. Any hints welcome.

Hi Petra,

I know there were large problems for Max with this particular SEF'd url...  I remember the discussion in the Testers group...

I assume u have a Joomla menu link to the cart - hidden or otherwise?

Hi,
yes, I have a cart menu item (tried both hidden and non-hidden - makes no difference) and
a menu item for the shop main level.

I really hope that this can be sorted out, as I (and the customer) don't want to do without the SEF URLs...

In version 4.0.6 the problem still persists...

I also discovered that the page navigation on the category overview pages do not work when SEF is enabled in Joomla!
All pages links direct to the first page.

yes---  but think Max is nearly there ... there has been some progress with the router so fingers crossed
