Discount don't show in the cart

My site provides subscription.
With a subscription and you are logged in, you can "buy" products for free.
You add products to the cart, and at the cart page the total price shall be zero, but now the full price is recorded.

The selected payment function is subscription, it's set up as a DATaxBill given 100 % dicount.

It worked fine before I installed VirtueMart 3.8.7 10378.

How can I solve this problem?

VM 3.8.7 10378 is a release candidate not any stable version.  Check if this also happens with standard template.

The same happened with a standard (protostar) template chosen.

As told by Jörgen 3.8.7 is a test version best considered as a beta. Proper (considered stable) release versions are eve numbered, so 3.8.6 is a stable version, the next stable version will be 3.8.8.

Any version should first be checked on a backup copy of a live site, this is especially important with beta versions which may contain bugs or incomplete code updates.

I'm testing 3.8.7 10380 at the moment and cannot see any tax issues. Maybe double check your tax calculation settings? Or use a simple 100% discount.
