Product availability by country?

Hi,
Is anybody aware of a plugin to set product availability by the users country?

I have a Virtuemart store that has available 100's of products for sale to the UK.
I wish to make a small amount, around 100 products available for sale / shipping to Ireland.

I need to be able to only make the 'Ireland' products available when Ireland is set as the country by the customer (or detected by GeoIP). By available, it could simply be that unavailable products are not shown, or preferably the 'add to cart' function is disabled.

I don't want to allow the products to be added to the cart and then the user being unable to checkout as the products are not deliverable to Ireland. I think the customer would find this annoying and confusing.

Any help / directions greatly appreciated.

I think you can use https://extensions.virtuemart.net/index.php?option=com_virtuemart&view=productdetails&virtuemart_category_id=14&virtuemart_product_id=201&Itemid=133

So you know the country and can make a link to the products category available just to that country.
