Confirmation emails sending multiple times issue

Hi,

We are having an issue where the confirmation email of credit card payment orders only are sending to the customer sometimes 4 or 5 times and sometimes only once.

This does not happen on internet banking orders.

Any ideas what may be causing it?

I think this is a big issue for me.
