Down Payment Products

Hey guys!

So I have this interesting thing here... I am looking for some sort of plugin that would allow me to do this:

A customer buys a product (health care) and he can choose from two product. First one is a healt care for a whole year for a fixed price. Nothing fancy here... But the second one would be the same - it would be for a whole year again but he only pays a down payment and the rest of the price gets cut to quarters and the customer receives an invoice every three months for a next down payment... So - is there something like that?

Right now I am thinking that maybe when a customer buys this second product that is based on down payments he might be automatically added to a different Joomla user group and I might find a plugin that alerts the customer every three months...? Not sure though...

So I was thinking if there is anyone here with some ideas about this :-)
