Shop Front 'Front page' not displaying

I have an issue I can't resolve :-(
I installed Virtuemart and assigned menus for 'front page' and 'shopping cart'
Tested the menus and I could see both expected screens.
I then installed Virtuemart Sales and uninstalled the extension as it was not what I expected.
Now I have a problem I cannot display 'front page', all other menu options under Virtuemart display fine.

Can you help me restore the displaying of Virtuemart 'front page'

remake the menu?

reinstall VM?

what do u see when u go to the Frontpage?

Hi, thanks for the reply.

1. I did remake the menu - No change
2. I did reinstall VM - No change

I have attached screenshots:
a. frontpage
b. shopping cart

I wonder if it could be access levels/permissions.
I set my login as superuser with permission to everything

when I try http://race.hsrotary.co.za/index.php/race-night-shop I get redirected to a login ..

try making a std public menu to it

anyway -- VM3.0.18 was released today and on that VM front page will be depreciated so the standard "start" page will become a menu to the root category

1. Update installed successfully.
2. Menu remade to Race Night Shop 2 and made Public

I created a product category and assigned the products to the category. I was inspired by your comment about root category.
It looks OK, do you believe that this was the cause ?
