Order confirmation email notification not going

Hello,

Our Joomla version is 3.6.5. and Virtuemart version is 3.2.2

Virtuemart is not sending the order confirmation email to the vendor and the shopper. I checked the settings in joomla global administration/server, mail settings. There is PHP option right now. I checked that my web hosting is ok with PHP option and also Send test button works fine and I received the test email.

Please help to resolve this issue

Maybe a template which breaks the code?

Or missconfigured email server?

What is the order status returned by your payment plugin?
Do emails get sent when you manually change the order status?
Are you able to generate an invoice using the force creation button under "Print View" on the orders list?

Do your emails send using the test email in the joomla "email configuration tab" ?

Emails work for VM shops - it is unlikely that it is a VM issue because thousands of shops are working (else we would have a lot more people posting in this thread)


What Payment plugin/method are you using - is it third party or standard VM?  If standard VM then:-

Check your settings for:
Joomla
VM
PHP version
Joomla Version
Email config
Server config
Server logs

Then put it on a test server and test again
