Shopping Cart sometimes gets emptied or only last item in cart when adding item

Hi,

Before trying to reproduce this issue, run in a private/incognito as you may have to try (with new private window) several times to see it happen.

Scroll down and start adding items to cart.

Sometimes after adding an item after one item is already added, the cart seems to reset and only has the last added item.
Sometimes when adding the first item, the cart is emptied.

Server is litespeed, php 5.5, Joomla 3.5.1 virtuemart 3.0.10

Things tried,
Upgraded Joomla from 3.4.8 also tried upgrading VM but same problem still occurred, reverted from backup because stylings were lost.
Changing php version from 5.3.29
Disabling ajax add to cart, same problem happens cart is either empty or last item added only in cart.
Added $().customUpdateVirtueMartCartModule(); function to page load, hoping it would start a cart session prior to adding items. Did not work.

Any ideas?

Nevermind.

Seems the problem had to do with server instability.

You should really update to the last versions. Vm3.0.17 and j3.5.1

I seem to remember this one time as a problem of the session growing too large at a certain point
