Notice message in cart shown twice / double in VM 3.0.2 and J 3.3.6.

The notice message in shown twice / double in the cart.
If you aren't logged in it shows "Please enter your address first".
It's also visible if you use the Beez3 template or change your language.

Some others have the same problem

I can't find a default country setting. In which screen can I change this.

The default currency is already set to euro. So this doesn't solve anything.

shopperfields -> country -> default field is empty.

Default country is set. Is there a way to have a default country but not see this message?

UP.
VirtueMart 3.0.7.4 and the same problem. When I go to Checkout I become the same notice - after country shipment update. I put default country id, but the problem is still.

That is a year old dev version.  Current version is 3.0.14 - what happens there?
