Default Values: Shopper Fields Details

Hello all,

Using J 3.5.1 w/ VM 3.0.16

Trying to establish a default value, United States, in the Configuration --> Shopper Fields --> Shopper Fields Details --> virtuemart_country_id   Country

Assuming this is the correct field during check out whether registered or not... I have currently saved United States as the default value, however, during checkout, the field is empty requiring the end user to enter their country prior to selection of State/Providence field... Since 95% of my sales are generated in the US, it would be efficient to default the country to United States so on the State would need to be selected...

Any direction is appreciated!
