Image not getting uplaoded through backend

Joomla Version: 3.4.5
VM 3.0.10

While adding new products, the image is not showing up, inspite of the message:

File /home/****/public_html/images/stories/virtuemart/product/vision12.jpg uploaded

Product successfully saved

AT the back end the thumbnail is not visible, but the large image is showing. Same in the front end. When the product is clicked, only then the image shows up.

Please suggest the solution.

Suggestions:

• Check folder product/resized if resized image is created.
• 
  Check folder permissions.
• Try with default Protostar template.

    Solved.

Enable Dynamic Thumbnail resize was not ticked.
