Hi,

in Joomla there already exists a Password Criteria Validation see attached screenshot.

Why doesn't get the password field in registration form of virtuemart gets validated against these settings? Why am I able to use a password with 5 digits like "44444" which is extremly unsecure. Why doesn't the registration form force you to enter uppercase letters and special characters when set in the backend?

How can I implement the validation of password field of the registration form with the settings from the joomla backend?

Milbo

it would need to load the joomla settings in the render and validation of the password userfields, which is not hard todo, just work. Check the userfields model.

I'm not shure, but if I remember correctly, the 'one page checkout' plugin by virtueplanet.com can do that.
