Auto change pending to cancelled

Hi all,

I was wondering, is there an option to enable that when for a certain period of time, the pending orders are set to 'cancelled'? Because when I set a certain limit for a product, and it becomes out of stock, usually there are several pending statuses of several days before. In this way the product is actually not out of sale, but I have to reset these status each time.

Is there an automatic option to achieve this?

no - you would need a plugin coded to do this - possibly a cron running resetting and pending to cancelled if older than x days
