I need a developer for the Updates for the "Reviver" Template.

I use this theme and while it is good, it is way more complicated and feature heavy than it needs to be. Also, the developer cannot speak good English so trying to suggest improvements is not easy.

If you have had custom work done to the theme it is probably best to get them to do the update for you.

Also, version 3.6 is broken (cart does not work) so it is probably best you wait till the next update.

We bought the J3 version of this template and have nothing as problems with it;

- Installed first the quick install, with all the data, to see how everything was build up.
Adapted that install a bit and while using a normal editor in the frontpage it causes a white screen.

- Doing a clean install, with J3.4.0. and VM3.6.0.2. and the template with the T3 plugin.
Nothing as problems with the cart.

I checked loads of files and see for example within the quickinstall J2.5 versions, which makes me think the whole thing is just an upgrade from J2.5 instead of a dedicated V3 version.

Also within the separate template install, I see a lot of VM2 files in the override (like virtuemart>tmpl>default_categories.php), instead of only VM3 files.
It's very chaotic.

I have recently worked with a couple of sites using commercial VM templates based on a framework. One of them was a well-known and Joomla connected company. In both cases the frameworks and templates were overkill, trying to be everything to everyone. On the one hand there were many admin features that gave a lot of options to the site admin. But this came at the price of extreme bloat and an extra layer of complexity (and complexity that was a lot less tested than Joomla and VM). It re-confirmed my belief that for some commercial uses, it is hard to beat the performance, uniqueness and longer-term benefits of custom templates (perhaps with the of responsive frameworks) built to fit a particular use. But as always, it is a case of finding the right tool for the job.
