oh yes sorry i altered the database in order to display a seperate description field and a second thumbnail for the catergory

either change the references to the query to the origianl catergory description and thumnail.  Or if you are the same as me and require a sperate description and thumbnail add the following fields to the mos_pshop_category  table (mos is my default prefix yours may differ)

mini_thumb

yeah, i added these fields, but the shop wouldn't show the subcategory images when browsing a parent category.
It looks like it should, but it can't
i uploaded images for subcats just all right and they're seen correctly in the backend, but in frontend it would appear like this

The only thing i cant think of is that you may not have the address entirely correct, which is stored in your database try copying and pasting  the entire web address from your web browser when you have the picture open on the screen.  (remember it is case sensitive)

Cause it appears the new browse file is working perfectly but the pictures just cannot be found

Just a new update for anyone who is interested.  I have altered my flypage to select an additional 2 customised description field.  See the results on the following product link.

Matthew, can you write in laymans term how to add additional fields to the database.

I am uploading via csv and need to use about 7 of the existing fields only (I use catalogue only) and adding a few of my own would be very handy.
