PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined method vRequest::vmSpecialChars() in

Hi,

did an update on virtuemart 3.08 after that i'm not able to access the admin pannel, receiving this error PHP Fatal error:  Call to undefined method vRequest::vmSpecialChars() in /var/www/koi4sale.nl/administrator/modules/mod_vmmenu/helper.php on line 57

but no worries i've backed-up the database so did a restore but that won't do the trick, site is stil working but admin pannel not 

is there someone who can help me?
