Different virtuemart (Joomla1.5& VM1.1.9 and Joomla 2.5 & VM2.6.10) upgrades

Hello,

First upgrade/migration:
- I have last year update a joomla 1.5. with VM1.1.9 upgraded/migrated to Joomla 2.5. with VM2.6.x (I believe now 12).
- I have also created a new site joomla 2.5 with VM2.6.10. VM 2.6.12 is not possible because then it goes wrong with the template. (I have category 3 column, after the vm update it is 1 column)

But now I like to update these both sides to Joomla 3.4 with VM3.0.6 or higher.

Question:

• Is there a good tutorial how to do this?
• Just to know and do it in smaller steps: Is it also possible to combine Joomla 3.4 with VM2.6.x
• OR is it possible to combine Joomla 2.5.8 with VM3.0.x.

Second:
- So as mentioned above I have upgraded one joomla 1.5. & vm1.1.9 to joomla 2.5 & vm2.6.x. For me it was not easy to get this done. So I thought I wait till virtuemart 3 is there.

Question:

• Can that be done at once? Or do I have first to upgrade the joomla 1.5 & vm1.1.9 to Joomla 2.5 & vm 2.6. And the next step would be upgrade to joomla 3.4 & vm3.0.x?
• I have been googling, but is there a tutorial for upgrading from Joomla 1.5 & vm1.1.9 to Joomla 3.x & VM 3.x
