Hi,

I have upgraded my website (www.wanwisawebwinkel.nl) to Joomla 3.3.6 and VirtueMart 3.0.6.
Everything seems to work just fine except for the search (VM - Search in Shop).

The search configuration is set to not search only in the categories.
When I then search for a product nothing is found, when I then turnoff seo in VirtueMart or in Joomla then the search works.
But then I have URL's that are not SEO optimzed.

When I set the search configuration to search only in categories and turn on seo then the search only works inside categories.

Does somebody have an idea how i can fix this?
Greetings,

I solved it... it had to do with a hidden menu that I had made for XMAP.

On my home page I have disabled the category view for virtuemart. Because of this XMAP could not make a correct sitemap.
I solved this by making a hidden menu entry to the virteumart categories. In this menu I had set the select a category to the top level category in VirtueMart.
This resulted in the broken search.

To solve it I made separate hidden menu entries to all the top categories I have. This way the search is working and XMAP also works
