How to disable "Base Price" Tax Or Generally

Hi!

I'm having problems with my VM price dsplaying configuration; When I want to only put a normal price without any type of tax, the tax is automatically added and I can't post correctly the price because when I put on "Price Cost" 40, on "Base Price" its 45.312, why is happening that? Is there any way to repair it or disabling it?

In summary, I don't need the TAX for anything including any another type of it, so that's why I want it to disable it if its possible.

I'm using Virtuemart 2.

well - 2.0.24 is now so out of date i doubt any one will be able to help

but are you saying a tax is always being added to your prices even though you believe none is set?

Yes, and I don't understand why this happens. That's why I'm worried about it and asking for help :/ It's possible to change it?

Are you using a single currency everywhere?

Only 1 currency everywhere.

Your cost price it set to Peso but your base price is in dollars? That is two currencies, and would result in a peso/$ conversion  to get the base price from the cost price.
