Custom fields vm3

Hello,

I am looking for some documentation of how to use custom fields correctly on VM 2.9.9g or 3. I have a lot of troubles trying options like string,child variant,... and also a lot of doubts of how to use it. I have read that I can try to install the sample data and try it myself, but I don't know how to do it. I think it could be a good idea if there is a good post about how to use it.

To install sample date:

Go to Configuration/Shop and under Advanced Settings turn on "Enable database Update tools"

Then go to Tools/Tools & Migration and hit the Reset all tables and install sample data button.

(This deletes any product data you have already entered)

That's a problem with your template overrides which probably need some updating to work with VM3
