How to set tax rules to multiple products

VM 2.9.9e JM 3

Migrated from 1.9 but need to reconfigure tax rules, I have created 2 tax rules and need to apply one to approx 60% of products across different categories, and the other to remaining 40%. How can this be done? Migration process seemed to loose the old version tax rules.

I assume you know that you are using a development version with known bugs. Latest public RC for VM3 is 2.9.9.3

You can select which tax rules to apply to each product in the product information page next to the price.
