change default currency

Hi,

I know many other posted about this topic but I don't get anywhere.

I created a vendor (the admin of the website) with euro currency, I added my products to this vendor and the currency is stil dollar.

Also, now in the admin panel I cannot see the products, stating that I don't have the rights.

I used Joomla! 3.3.1. I have no idea how to find out in the admin panel what version of virtuemart I use.

If it loaded and works with Joomla3 then you must be using one of the VM3/2.9.9 test/development versions, and if the version does not show at the bottom of the left menu then it is one of the earlier ones. You can check versions using Joomla's extensions manager, but if you are experienced in Joomla/VM and want to continue testing then the latest public test (RC) version is 2.9.9.3 available on  http://dev.virtuemart.net/projects/virtuemart/files  Report any bugs on http://forum.virtuemart.net/index.php?board=136.0

If you are superadmin you should see all products.

The stable VM3 should be available soon.

Hi,

It works alright, I use minimum features but I can't change the default currency.

What is the code that controls that? Or where in the database?

VirtueMart Administrator Component version is 2.9.8a.

That version was form 4 months ago, there have been a host of bugfixes since then, and your currency problem may be one of those bugs. So suggest you get a more recent version.
