Suggestion: want more filters to "categories" view in backend

For example, I created a lot of extra categories.
Is it possible to display all the categories that have no products inside?
Nope.
I have them now 1473 pieces. It will be hell to select checkboxes on each page and delete them. Why can not destroy all at once (ie select all)? After all of them are right, "live" categories.

I can expect? Or no hope?
