Request Item

Hello vm folks,

In my store, I have to source via 3rd party source for some items customers want. In order to let them know the items I can source for, I have them listed on site + prices. With most of my items, I have them in the warehouse or out of stock (Notify Me), so is there a way to have a Request Item in order to avoid customers paying for items that may become out of stock from 3rd party source? This way, once requested item is confirmed as In Stock, customer may go ahead and pay for item, then we can ship to them without going through too much inventory hassle.
